I’m Wes Dunaway.

Wes Dunaway, attorney

I help Florida families plan for the future, navigate the legal responsibilities that follow a death, and resolve disputes involving real estate. My practice focuses on estate planning, probate and estate administration, and real estate litigation, with much of my work serving real estate investors and property owners.

Before becoming an attorney, I worked in technology, managing computer systems and projects. I earned a bachelor’s degree in computer science from Furman University and an MBA with a concentration in finance from Rollins College. That background continues to shape how I practice law: I look closely at the details, consider how the pieces fit together, and keep the larger objective in view.

I earned my law degree from Florida A&M University College of Law, where I served on the Law Review. I went on to build a law practice helping clients with estate planning, probate, and real estate matters.

Originally from East Tennessee, I have called Orlando home since 1997. Outside the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and daughter, cycling, and tinkering with computers. Sometimes our dog comes along for the bike ride.

My Approach

Legal decisions rarely exist in isolation. A will affects a family. An estate involves both practical responsibilities and personal loss. A property dispute can put an investment at risk. Good representation begins with understanding what matters to you, explaining your options clearly, and developing an approach that makes practical and financial sense.

Understand what matters

Every client brings different priorities. I take time to understand your concerns, your goals, and the practical realities behind the legal issue. That conversation helps us identify what a useful outcome would look like for you.

Choose a practical path

I explain your options, the likely costs, and the tradeoffs so you can make informed decisions. Together, we develop a plan that fits your objectives, adjusting as circumstances change.

See it through

I guide you through each stage of your matter, keeping you informed and helping you understand what comes next. As circumstances change, we adjust our approach while staying focused on bringing your matter to a resolution.
